RAMONES Tribute CD Pushed Back Once Again?
November 10, 2002The long-awaited tribute album to the RAMONES, "We're a Happy Family: A Tribute to the Ramones", appears to have had its release date changed once again. According to Hits Daily Double, the album being released by manager Andy Gould's DV8 Records through Columbia is now coming out on Jan. 14. As previously reported, the following acts are set to appear on the CD: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ("Havana Affair"),ROB ZOMBIE ("Blitzkrieg Bop"),EDDIE VEDDER ("I Believe in Miracles"),METALLICA ("53rd & 3rd"),U2 ("Beat on the Brat"),KISS ("Do You Remember Rock N Roll Radio?"),MARILYN MANSON ("The KKK Took My Baby Away"),GARBAGE ("I Just Wanna Have Something to Do"),GREEN DAY ("Outside"),THE PRETENDERS ("Something to Believe In"),RANCID ("Sheena Is a Punk-Rocker"),PETE YORN ("I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend"),THE OFFSPRING ("I Wanna Be Sedated"),ROONEY ("Here Today, Gone Tomorrow") and TOM WAITS ("Return of Jackie & Judy").
